# Mesh terms of use Version 1.0, in force from October 13, 2026 [Français](https://meshapps.io/fr-tg/conditions-utilisation) ## In short Mesh lets you create free links and QR codes that send each visitor to your app in the right store. You can correct a link at any time without changing its address or its QR code. By creating an account, you accept these terms. You undertake to link only your own apps, or apps you are authorised to promote, on the official stores. Mesh may suspend a dangerous or unlawful link, and you can challenge that decision. ## Who we are and what these terms are for Mesh is a service of Nascent Tech, a company registered in Côte d'Ivoire (see the [legal notice](legal-notice)). These terms form the contract between you and Nascent Tech for the use of Mesh. They apply from the opening of your account. ## The free service With a free account, you can: - create up to three free links, and up to fifty links in total, free and Pro Links combined; - get a QR code for each link; - correct the app name or its destinations at any time, without changing the link address or its QR code; - view the number of openings of each link, per day and per platform, over the last 30 days. The free service shows no advertising. A suspended link counts towards the limit of three free links. ## Your account Pilot sign-up is open to people who declare that they reside in Côte d'Ivoire. You must be at least 18 years old and act for yourself or for the organisation you represent. Your account is linked to an email address. You sign in with a code sent to that address; there is no password. You are responsible for access to your mailbox. An account belongs to a single person; you may not share it. The information you give must be accurate, especially your country. If your email address changes, write to us: changing the address is not yet available in the console. ## What you can link to A destination must be the page of an app on one of these official stores: - Apple's App Store (apps.apple.com); - Google Play (play.google.com); - Huawei's AppGallery (appgallery.huawei.com). An official test destination is also accepted: an Apple TestFlight invitation (testflight.apple.com) or a Google Play test. You declare that you own the app, or that its owner authorises you to create this link. You follow the usage rules for each store's names and badges. ## What is forbidden You may not use Mesh to: - promote an unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or misleading app; - mislead visitors about the publisher's identity, for example by imitating a brand or a bank; - infringe the rights of others, including a trademark or copyright; - get around the limits of the service, for example by opening several accounts to get more free links; - disrupt the service, attack it or use it in an automated and abusive way; - resell or give third parties access to your account. ## Reports, suspension and appeal Anyone can report a dangerous or unlawful link from the "Report" page of the website, without an account. Our team examines every report. A report alone does not prove wrongdoing. If a link presents a danger or breaches these terms, we may suspend it. A suspended link shows "Link unavailable" and no longer redirects. We suspend only the links concerned, not the others. In case of established abuse, we may also restrict your account by a reasoned decision. A restricted account keeps sign-in, statistics and the right to delete its links or the account, but can no longer create, edit or publish. We tell you the reason and how to challenge it, unless the law or a documented risk prevents it. You can appeal from your console or by replying to our message. We examine your appeal within three calendar days. If the reason no longer applies, we lift the suspension. ## Deleting a link or your account You can delete a link at any time. It stops redirecting immediately. Its address is never reassigned to anyone else, so that a printed QR code never leads to a third party. You can delete your account from the console, on the "Mon compte" (My account) page, with the "Supprimer mon compte" (Delete my account) button. For your security, we first ask for a recent sign-in code. Deletion immediately closes your access and all your links. It is final: your links cannot be restored. We keep only the data the law requires us to keep, as explained in the [privacy policy](privacy-policy). ## What Mesh guarantees and does not guarantee Mesh undertakes to send each visitor to the destination you declared for their platform, or to a choice page if the platform is not recognised. A correction takes effect within sixty seconds at most. Mesh does not control app stores or phones. We therefore do not guarantee: - that the store app opens directly, since the browser and the system decide; - that your app is available or installable for every visitor; - that every device is recognised; when in doubt, the visitor chooses; - an exact number of visitors: statistics are estimated openings, not people or installs. We aim for high availability of the service, with no figure committed for the free service. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, failures or force majeure. If Mesh were to cease its activity, we would notify you at least ninety days in advance. Your links would keep working during this notice period. No address would be transferred to a third party. ## Liability You are responsible for the apps you link and the names you choose. If a third party makes a claim against us because of a link you created in breach of these terms, you help us respond to it. The free service is provided at no charge. To the extent permitted by Ivorian law, Nascent Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential losses linked to use of the service. This limitation does not apply to mandatory legal obligations, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, personal-data breaches, failures of essential obligations, or rights that consumers or non-professionals cannot legally waive. ## The Pro Link The Pro Link is a paid option, bought once per link. Its sale is not open yet. Its terms of sale will be published before sales open, and you will have to accept them at the time of purchase. They will add to these terms. ## Personal data How we use your data is described in the [privacy policy](privacy-policy). ## Changes to the terms and the service We may change these terms, for example to follow a change in the law or the service. For a significant change, we notify you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you refuse the change, you can delete your account before that date. A change never alters the address of an existing link. ## Governing law and disputes These terms are governed by Ivorian law. In case of disagreement, we first seek an amicable solution: write to us. If no agreement is reached within thirty days, the dispute is brought before the competent courts of Abidjan. This clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, where the law grants it. These terms are available in French and English. You can review both versions before accepting them.
